Join us on Tuesday 21st May in person at Old Billingsgate to take part in one of our pre-event workshops:

From single cells to whole genomes: nanopore data analysis - £225.00 + VAT In this one-day practical workshop, attendees will be introduced to Oxford Nanopore's EPI2ME workflows for single cell transcriptomics, human whole genome genetic variation (SNP, indel, structural variation, methylation, CNVs and STRs) and metagenomics.

Advanced workshop - bioinformatics challenge - £225.00 + VAT An advanced event where attendees will participate in bioinformatics challenges to develop (EPI2ME compatible) workflows for the analysis of Oxford Nanopore sequence data. The event is intended for bioinformaticians and coaching in core technologies will be provided.

An introduction to machine learning for analysing Oxford Nanopore data - £225.00 + VAT In this one-day practical workshop, attendees will learn the theory of using machine learning to basecall Oxford Nanopore signals, as well as to perform secondary analysis (variant calling). Attendees are expected to have a solid grasp of computer programming, but no machine learning or Oxford Nanopore experience is required.

Flow cell loading

As part of London Calling 2024, we're delighted to offer you the opportunity to take part in an interactive online masterclass, where you will learn how to load a PromethION Flow Cell. If you would like to participate, please select the flow cell loading session during the 'build your event' stage of registration. We will send you a PromethION Flow Cell loading demo kit.

This 50 minute masterclass will take place online on Tuesday 21st May. Timings to follow.

PromethION Flow Cell loading kits are limited, so book now to avoid missing out. For anyone who does not receive a kit, you will still be able to watch the session live online, or catch up after the event.
