We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Commercial Team as a Clinical Market Development Manager.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Clinical and Translational Research, the successful candidate will have the deep technical understanding of clinical genomics and the experience of operating in a fast-paced, competitive commercial environment required to take the lead in driving clinical and translational market development across Europe
The clinical market development associate/manager will work with closely with our key clinical customers and collaborate across our business functions to deliver on our ambitious goals for this market. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:
To achieve these goals, you will be required to undertake up to 50% travel, within UK and Europe, and occasionally global.
What We Are Looking For…..
The Clinical Market Development manager will have:
Strong written and verbal communication skills and will be a confident public speaker. They will be pro-active in deploying their commercial acumen, analytical and problem solving skills to all aspects of their role. They will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, managing multiple concurrent projects, and responding creatively to challenges, risks and opportunities.
The candidate will be educated to at least BSc level in a biomedical or other life science discipline, with previous experience of either working in translational research or clinical laboratories or directly supporting the scientists in such laboratories.
The candidate must have existing relationships with KOLs in human clinical genomics, a deep knowledge of the technical and commercial dynamics and regulatory requirements of the clinical genomics market, and an appreciation of the opportunities for nanopore sequencing to have an impact upon it. Prior experience working in a commercial or customer facing technical role is also required.
Candidates may be field based in the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany or Denmark
